We have a strong team of scientists with deep knowledge of mammalian and microalgae cell cultivation. Now, we’re looking for a Junior Scientist with a passion for cell culture and biotechnology to join us on our mission.

What we need from you 💻

You’re a motivated and curious early-career scientist with basic hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture. You’ll support our R&D team with cell handling, lab tasks, and data collection as part of our cultivated meat development efforts.

What you’ll do:

• Work with common mammalian cell lines (e.g., myoblasts) in a sterile environment
• Perform cell passaging, counting, freezing, and thawing
• Operate basic lab equipment: centrifuges, incubators, pipettes, automated cell counters
• Use microscopy (brightfield, phase contrast) to monitor cell growth
• Assist in media preparation and understand components like supplements and antibiotics
• Contribute to lab maintenance and documentation
• Support experiments involving basic molecular biology techniques (e.g., qPCR, ELISA)

Who we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or related life sciences field
• Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture from school, internships, or lab work
• Familiar with aseptic techniques and working in a biosafety cabinet
• Eager to learn, detail-oriented, and team-minded
• Any experience with molecular biology techniques (qPCR, ELISA, western blot) is a plus
