IDA - presentation

By establishing IDA - the Institute for Digital Assets - existing research gaps are addressed and a center for the development of new talents, products and methods for the industry is created. IDA focuses on FinTech, energy tokens, BC adoption, energy consumption and BC business models. Its main scopes are to offer valuable information for research, educate academics and entrepreneurs and build an ecosystem that can support innovative projects, through an integrated process which includes data, analytics and dissemination - DAD. The IDA integrated research and innovation lab offers metadata, algorithms, and code snippets to bridge the gap between practice and insightful modeling. IDA develops valuable metrics which translate into investment alternatives, like art, real estate, or energy token instruments. One example is the Digital Art Index, which measures art based NFTs and serves as an investment indicator. The IDA offers its findings, innovations, and technologies via a peer-to-peer prosumer-based ecosystem, quantinar.com. Furthermore, it develops courselets to improve the understanding and foster the use of the BC technology. All code snippets are on public servers and addressable through quantlet.com. Data access is provided by blockchain-research-center.com.

The institute also develops and maintains a map of existing business models fuelled by BC technology, which can give future start-ups an insight into the application of BC technology and its business mechanisms. It will host regular hackathons and camps for proliferating the IDA technology for advancing start-ups, specializing on blockchain use cases.

IDA leverages and expands existing relationships with local and international community initiatives to promote BC. Research, education, and dissemination is combined in a holistic approach. Therefore, IDA promotes a meaningful and sustainable adoption of BC technology, providing stakeholders with a strategic basis for decision-making and evaluation.
